Red River Café

Fresh delicious food and a friendly smile is as complicated as it gets at this atmospheric and cosy café based in the old Carpenter’s Workshop at Heartlands.

With a beautiful wooden beam ceiling and original features, the Red River Café is the perfect place to catch up with friends for coffee, grab a delicious lunch or enjoy an evening meal at our special event suppers.

Our chef, Tim Treseder sources local Cornish produce where possible to cook up an ever-changing menu with daily specials to satisfy every palate. There’s a relaxed servery during the day and table service for special evening openings. Everything is cooked here, on the day, at Heartlands – and of course, we bake our own pasties (like no other, as you’ll see when you wrap your hands round one). Look out for our delicious daily specials made on demand and delivered to your table with a smile!

If you just feel like a cup of coffee or tea and a cake, the choice of freshly baked cakes, pastries and cream teas might bring about a drool.
