Visitor Centre & Shop

Heartlands Visitor Centre and Shop

Clad in copper with a glazed front and back, it’s hard to miss the striking Heartlands Visitor Centre opposite the Red River Café in Robinson’s Courtyard.

Inside you’ll find our Reception and Information Desk where you can pick up a Daily Events Sheet and quiz us about anything to do with Heartlands. There’s also a highly addictive map of Cornwall within the centre, that lets you plan your next must-see place in Cornwall, be it another World Heritage Site; curious things to do and see in the local area of Redruth and Camborne; or further afield such as the Eden Project and Tate St Ives.

The Visitor Centre is also home to the Heartlands Shop. It’s stocked with a wide range of souvenirs, mementoes and gifts, such as quirky stationery and books, collectable crystals, local crafts and hand-made jewellery. We source our stock from Cornish suppliers, with a few exceptions. Pop in and have a browse.

Please note: we’re not a regular tourist trap. Every single penny of profit from our retail sales goes directly to supporting Heartlands. We are a social enterprise and not-for-profit charity, so when you buy something from our gift shop you’re helping to support the local community, give a much-needed boost to the local economy and keep Heartlands booming for years to come. Thank you.

We’re always looking to work with new suppliers, makers and designers.  If you’re interested, then get in touch with our retail team at info@heartlandscornwall.com.

Please be advised that the exhibits in the Visitor Centre will not be running on 21, 22, 23 December due to Christmas Storytelling taking place in the Exhibition.

The exhibition can still be visited but none of the audio and visual exhibits will be running.

Thank you for your understanding.
