Wheal Play & Family Activities

Wheal Play is a bright and colourful soft play centre, with a cheery team dedicated to providing you with a fantastic experience.

Opening hours: Monday to Sunday.

Play sessions are 9-11am, 11.30–1.30pm and 2–4pm

We provide a safe place for your children to play, giving you time to relax. We’re open all year round. Come and play!

Heartlands, was born out of the former mining complex at Robinson’s Shaft in the village of Pool, part of the mining heart of Cornwall.

Open Monday to Sunday 10–4pm

The Camborne and Redruth area that surrounds Heartlands was designated World Heritage Site status in 2006 by UNESCO as part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape.

On Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July, the Artisan Market will be at Heartlands between 10am and 4pm both days. The 2 day event will consist of a craft market, food stalls and choirs etc. Everyone participating in the weekend creates, design or bakes their goods, with stalls ranging from gin to jewellery. With outdoor food stalls and indoor crafts this is a weekend for everyone.

Free entry to the public.
