Our gem, the Chylowen Room ("House of Joy" in Cornish), is a Grade 2 listed building connected to the Robinsons Shaft Engine House. This charming room is adorned with subdued lighting, retaining its original fixtures and rustic beams. Complementing its unique charm are ceiling-hung fairy lights and the soft glow of candlelight can further enhance its distinctive ambiance. For those who share a connection to the mining industry, a ceremony to our Chylowen Room is an absolute necessity.
Nestled within our Chi an Bobel building ("House of the People" in Cornish), you'll discover a spacious, contemporary hall that accommodates up to 250 guests for a reception or 144 guests for a breakfast. This versatile space boasts a fully stocked bar, acoustic paneling for optimal sound quality, expansive sliding doors, a welcoming arrival atrium, and a well-equipped kitchen. This room offers the perfect adaptability to cater to a grand wedding breakfast, serve as the backdrop for a sizable ceremony, or host a lively celebration where you can revel with your friends and family.
